Our Story

Supporting the Riverwood community since 1994, the South Peoria Neighborhood Connection Foundation (STCH) has been dedicated to reducing hunger and combating poverty. With a rich history rooted in the multi-unit housing boom of the 1970s, STCH was established to address neighborhood change, poverty, and crime. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services and facilities to better serve the community.

Impact

STCH serves thousands of meals to hundreds of households, with 98% of clients considered extremely low income. The organization has processed over 400,000 lbs. of food and provided over 100,000 meals, demonstrating significant community impact.
