Our Story

The South Peninsula Water Polo Foundation was established to teach and promote the sport of water polo among youth in the high school and middle school communities of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. This foundation is dedicated to providing a high-quality training program that is both fun and challenging, fostering a positive coaching environment where players can reach their maximum potential.

With a vision set forth by the original Board of Directors and head coach Jack Bowen, SoPen focuses on developing the skills, experience, teamwork, and confidence of all its players while embracing the 'Be Your Best' philosophy.
