Our Story

Founded in 1999 by the Littleton Firefighters Local 2086, the South Metro Professional Firefighters Foundation emerged from a commitment to support firefighter safety, education, and legislation. Following the tragic loss of a firefighter in 2007, the foundation was established to provide essential assistance to first responders and their families during their most challenging times. The merger of the Littleton Fire and South Metro Fire Departments in 2019 solidified the foundation's mission to serve those who serve us.
