The South Florida Winter Guard Association (SFWGA) was established in 1980 by high school band directors to extend the marching band experience into the winter months. Aligned with Winter Guard International, SFWGA has become one of the largest winter guard circuits in the country, supporting thousands of students and fostering a competitive environment for performance arts in South Florida.
