Our Story
The South Dakota Association of the Deaf, Inc. (SDAD) has been a beacon of hope for the deaf and hard of hearing community since its establishment in 1900. Incorporated in 1910, this statewide nonprofit organization is dedicated to advocating for the rights of deaf individuals and their families, ensuring they can participate fully in society without barriers. SDAD fosters an inclusive environment where both deaf and hearing individuals can come together to learn, understand, and appreciate each other.
