The South County Food Pantry, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization committed to gathering, organizing, and distributing food to those in need in Venice, Osprey, Laurel, and Nokomis, Florida. Established in 1986, this pantry operates without any paid employees, relying solely on the dedication of volunteers to provide essential food assistance to families facing economic hardships.

Each month, the South County Food Pantry provides approximately $18,000 worth of food, totaling around $216,000 annually, to support local families. The pantry serves a diverse clientele, including senior citizens, homeless individuals, and single-parent families, focusing on short-term assistance to help clients regain stability.
