Founded in 1996, the South Coast Symphony, known as the Unstuffy Symphony, serves as a resident orchestra in Orange County. With a dedicated ensemble of 65 musicians, the Symphony's mission is to deliver professional, accessible, and affordable symphonic musical experiences to the diverse communities of south and central Orange County. The eclectic programming ranges from classical masterpieces to Broadway hits, ensuring entertainment and education for all ages.
Over the past two decades, the South Coast Symphony has showcased 54 Young STARS and awarded more than $58,000 in scholarships to aspiring musicians. The Symphony has reached over 50,000 students and teachers through its free educational outreach program, Koncerts for Kids.
