Founded in 2013, South Central Pennsylvania Softball has evolved from the York County Junior Girls Softball League into a premier fastpitch organization. With roots dating back to 1975, the league was established by Aletha Groff, who inspired a community of girls and their mothers to embrace the sport. Today, SCPAS serves over 2000 players across various age brackets, fostering a love for softball and teamwork.
With 165 teams and a commitment to excellence, SCPAS is recognized as the primary feeder system for JV and Varsity High School Softball Teams in the region. The league not only promotes athletic skills but also instills values of teamwork and perseverance in young girls.
