Our Story
Founded in response to the 1992 civil unrest in Los Angeles, South Central Los Angeles Ministry Project (SC LAMP) emerged from the collaborative efforts of eight congregations of Catholic sisters. They engaged with the community to understand their needs, leading to the development of family-centered programs that empower individuals and families.
Impact
In the most recent program year, SC LAMP served 265 individuals, including 102 adults and 163 children. Since 1992, over 2000 families have benefited from our services, positively impacting thousands in the community.
