Our Story
On March 8, 1975, International Women’s Day, the Women’s Center of Brevard opened its doors to provide essential support for women, men, and children affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and self-sufficiency. Every day, countless residents of Brevard seek refuge and assistance, often arriving with little more than hope. Through the unwavering commitment of volunteers and generous supporters, the Women’s Center offers vital services such as counseling, financial assistance, career guidance, job training, transitional housing, and victim advocacy.
