Our Story
Founded in 1947, South Bay Children's Health Center began as a dental clinic to address the urgent health care needs of low-income children in the South Bay area. Over the years, it has expanded its services to include hearing, vision, and mental health support, establishing the Child Guidance Clinic in 1967. By integrating the South Bay Youth Project in 2008, SBCHC now provides comprehensive mental health services for children and young adults. Today, SBCHC serves over 25,000 individuals annually, focusing on both oral and mental health.
