Our Story

Sounds of Saving was founded in response to the tragic loss of co-founder Nick Greto’s Uncle Mike, who died by suicide. This personal experience ignited a passion for addressing mental health discussions and resources. Established in 2018, Sounds of Saving is a nonprofit studio dedicated to creating impactful content that features artists sharing their stories of perseverance through mental health crises. Co-founder Charlie Gross joined in 2019, bringing valuable expertise from the music industry and psychotherapy, aiming to harness music and storytelling as a bridge to mental health and wellness.

Our Impact

Sounds of Saving strives to reduce stigma around mental health, educate communities, and provide direct support through grants for psychotherapy and resources. Programs are designed to be culturally competent and inclusive, particularly focusing on marginalized communities.
