Our Story
Soul Survivor Outdoor was founded by Rick Wolf, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Marine Corps Reserve, to address the emotional and spiritual needs of active duty military service members. Established in 2014, the organization began with outdoor wilderness programs aimed at providing 'soul repair' for Marines suffering from the psychological effects of war, particularly PTSD. The inaugural event took place in Joshua Tree National Park, focusing on building a solid life foundation through outdoor adventures and fellowship.
