Our Story

Sophie’s Circle was founded by Kathy Blackman after rescuing a husky named Sophie from a shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized. This organization is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and adopting out dogs in need.

Our Impact

Operating the only pet food bank in Volusia County, Sophie’s Circle has successfully rescued and adopted hundreds of dogs, ensuring that pets remain in loving homes.
