Our Story
Founded in 1995, Somos Un Pueblo Unido is a statewide, immigrant-led organization dedicated to advancing worker and racial justice. With over 3,500 members across eight counties in New Mexico, Somos empowers immigrant and low-wage workers through community education, leadership opportunities, and grassroots campaigns.
Impact
Somos has secured over $25 million in cash assistance for 25,000 families excluded from federal COVID-19 relief programs, while also advocating for increased minimum wage and paid sick leave.
