Our Story

Founded in July 2009, SoldierStrong began as a response to a heartfelt letter from Sgt. Major Luke Converse, seeking support for troops in Afghanistan. Originally named SoldierSocks, the organization has transformed its mission to focus on providing revolutionary medical technologies and educational opportunities for veterans. Rebranded in 2015, SoldierStrong now addresses the physical and mental health challenges faced by veterans.

Impact

With over $5.5 million in medical technology donations and more than $500,000 awarded in scholarships, SoldierStrong is dedicated to improving the lives of veterans. The SoldierSuit and BraveMind systems are just two examples of the critical rehabilitation technologies provided to those in need.
