Our Story

Founded in 1976 by a group of compassionate women, Sol of San Mateo County, originally known as the Belles for Mental Health, has a rich history of advocating for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. In partnership with the Suicide Prevention Auxiliary, the organization evolved into the Community Service League in 1982. Today, SolMateo continues to shine a light on mental health, providing essential support to those in need in San Mateo County.

Our Impact

SolMateo is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents facing mental health challenges. By collaborating with the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County and StarVista Crisis Center, the organization ensures that 100% of proceeds directly benefit those in crisis.
