In 2015, a dedicated group of local residents transformed the long-discussed idea of a historical association into reality. The Soddy Daisy and Montlake Historical Association was established to collect and preserve local history, including photographs, maps, and significant relics. Officially recognized by the State of Tennessee, the association has become a vital part of the community's heritage.
Thanks to the generous donations from supporters, the association purchased the historic Soddy Bank building in 2023, providing a permanent home for the museum's growing collection of local artifacts.
