The Society of the Descendants of Washington's Army at Valley Forge (DVF) was founded on March 25, 1976, to honor the brave men and women who encamped at Valley Forge during the American Revolution. Members must prove descent from individuals who were present between December 19, 1777, and June 19, 1778. DVF is dedicated to preserving the memory of these patriots and educating the public about their sacrifices during a pivotal time in American history.
DVF members engage in educational initiatives, award scholarships to local students, and support the Valley Forge Park Alliance, promoting historical awareness and honoring the legacy of those who served at Valley Forge.
