Our Story
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul began in Paris, France in 1833, and the Longview Conference was established in 1937. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing food, clothing, and other necessities to those in need, regardless of race, color, sex, or creed. Operated by a dedicated group of 70 volunteers, who generously contribute their time and talent, the Longview Conference exemplifies community spirit and compassion.
Impact
Each year, the Longview Conference serves 55,000 individuals and distributes an astounding 1,200,000 pounds of food.
