Our Story
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded in 1833 in Paris, France, by Frederic Ozanam and his peers, with a mission to respond to the needs of the poor. The Saints Peter and Paul Conference was established in 1978 in Talbot County, MD, to provide essential support to those in need. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, including a food pantry and thrift store, to better serve the community.
Impact
In 2022, SVdP provided over 845,000 pounds of food, valued at $1.2 million, to families in need. Financial assistance increased significantly, demonstrating a commitment to uplifting the community.
