Our Story

Founded in 1998 by former professional soccer player Oliver Wyss and his wife Jamie, Soccer For Hope emerged from a profound personal journey. After surviving Aplastic Anemia through a bone marrow transplant, Oliver and Jamie were driven to raise funds and awareness for children battling life-threatening diseases. Their mission became even more personal when their own children, Hudson and Abella, were diagnosed with rare cancerous brain tumors. Despite their courageous battles, both children tragically lost their lives, inspiring the organization to focus on childhood cancer research, awareness, and essential family support.

Impact

Over the past 25 years, Soccer For Hope has benefitted thousands of children and families across the United States, raising nearly $5 million for hospitals and foundations nationwide.
