Our Story
SoCal Beep Baseball Association (SCBBA) is dedicated to providing individuals who are visually impaired with the opportunity to play America’s favorite pastime, baseball. Founded in 2018 by Darren Keepers, SCBBA has quickly become a leading organization in the West Coast beep baseball community. Players from all over Southern California come together to compete, supported by a strong network of coaches and volunteers.
Beep baseball is a modified version of traditional baseball, designed specifically for individuals who are visually impaired. The ball emits a beeping sound, and the bases buzz, allowing players to locate them on the field. Our games are fast-paced, competitive, and full of excitement, making them a fantastic way for visually impaired individuals to stay active and have fun.
SCBBA offers a variety of programs and events for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. Opportunities to compete against other teams from the region and showcase skills on a national stage are available through our tournaments. Additionally, clinics and training sessions are provided to help players learn new techniques and improve their game.
