Our Story

Soaring Eagles Center for Autism (SECA) was founded in 2001 by Dr. Karen Colvin and Nancy Barris, P.A., both of whom are parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Recognizing the urgent need for accessible and affordable autism services in Pueblo County, Colorado, SECA began as a support group and has since evolved into a comprehensive autism center. The organization is dedicated to providing education, advocacy, and intervention for families affected by autism, ensuring dignity and independence for its clients.

Impact

SECA serves as a Pediatric Behavioral Clinic, offering essential services such as Respite Care and Community Connector Programs. These initiatives significantly enhance the lives of families affected by autism in southern Colorado, providing them with the support they need.
