Our Story

Founded by Dr. Jennifer Buchanan in McKinney, Texas, Smiles Charity began as a small initiative in 2001, hosting an annual party to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Over the years, it has transformed into a significant movement, culminating in a free outdoor concert that unites the community to support veterans. To date, Smiles Charity has proudly built ten mortgage-free homes for deserving veterans, with ongoing efforts to assist more families in achieving home ownership.
