Our Story

Small Things began as ‘Easter Outreach’ in early 2010, responding to the urgent needs of a North Philadelphia community facing severe food insecurity. Initially distributing 100 dinners, the initiative quickly grew through partnerships with organizations like Philabundance, ultimately distributing millions of meals. In 2020, the organization rebranded to Small Things, embodying the belief that meaningful change starts with small actions.

Impact

In 2021, Small Things distributed over eight million meals, doubled its partner list, and engaged more than 2,300 volunteers, showcasing a profound community impact.
