Our Story

The Small Point Summer School was founded in 1958 as a seasonal day camp for the summer residents of Small Point, Maine. This camp provides a safe, fun, and socially rewarding experience for children ages 3.5 to 14, focusing on structured play that fosters skill development, confidence, and exploration.

Impact

SPSS serves as a vital community resource, preserving local knowledge and traditions while providing children with opportunities to develop skills in sailing, tennis, natural history, arts and crafts, and theatre arts.
