Our Story
Founded in May 1998 by Robin Pressnall, Small Paws Rescue began with a simple prayer for purpose. Starting with just 25 members on an AOL Bichon Frise Message Board, the organization has blossomed into a community of over 6,000 passionate individuals dedicated to rescuing Bichons and Bichon mixes from shelters and owners in need.
