Our Story

Small Art Music Projects (SAMP) began as a fiscally-sponsored project of Intersection for the Arts in 2005, operating annual performance seasons in the San Francisco Bay Area. After a decade of successful projects, SAMP officially incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit in 2014, expanding its programming to support innovative new music. SAMP has presented concerts at prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall and Davies Symphony Hall, enriching the cultural landscape through music.

Impact

SAMP supports the creation, presentation, and documentation of innovative new music, teaching future generations to appreciate and perform it.
