Founded in 2010, Sleepyhead Beds is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children and families in the Kansas City area. By redistributing clean, recycled beds and bedding, the organization not only supports social welfare but also promotes environmental sustainability by keeping mattresses out of landfills.

Impact

Since its inception, Sleepyhead Beds has distributed over 30,000 mattresses, providing an estimated 3,500,000 nights of sleep to those in need. The organization has successfully repurposed nearly 1,000 tons of beds, significantly reducing landfill waste.
