Our Story
Slant’d was born from intimate conversations among friends navigating their identities. This small yet passionate group created a literary magazine that explores the complexities of being Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI). What began as a creative outlet has transformed into a powerful movement for creative activism. Since 2017, Slant’d has become a safe haven for undiscovered creatives, empowering over 150 AAPI writers and artists to reclaim their narratives.
