Our Story

Founded in 1987 by Paul Anderson and Clint Bidleman, Skatechurch began as a grassroots effort to reach out to skaters in Portland, Oregon. Inspired by their own transformative experiences through faith, they created a safe haven for youth to connect, skate, and grow spiritually.

Impact

To date, over 12,195 skaters in the Greater Portland area have been introduced to the Gospel through Skatechurch, with 1,323 individuals making a commitment to Christ. The organization has also played a pivotal role in establishing skate ministries worldwide.
