Our Story

Mercy Care, established in 1985, is dedicated to providing compassionate healthcare to those in need, particularly the poor and vulnerable. Rooted in the healing ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, this organization has a rich history of serving the community, including the establishment of the first hospital in metro Atlanta in 1880.

Impact

In 2021, Mercy Care raised over $24 million in grants and donations, facilitating over 57,696 patient encounters in 2022. This includes vital mental health and dental visits, showcasing the extensive reach and impact within the community.
