Our Story
Sisu, formerly known as Challenged Child and Friends, was founded by occupational therapist Jean Willers in 1985 to address the needs of a young boy injured in an automobile accident. Since then, Sisu has evolved into a fully inclusive program, providing educational, nursing, and family support services, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Serving children from 13 counties across Northeast Georgia, Sisu is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
