Our Story
The Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine (CSA) began their mission in 1851, arriving in Cleveland, Ohio from France as the city’s first public health nurses. Over the years, CSA has expanded its reach, establishing hospitals, schools, and various health and social service programs in Ohio and South Carolina. This organization is dedicated to healing the whole person through a range of health and human services, advocating for the poor, and upholding the values of Jesus Christ.
