Our Story

The Sioux Falls Hope Coalition emerged from a collaborative effort among community leaders in 2015-2016, addressing the growing income gaps that left many families in poverty. The mission is clear: to ensure that every child starts kindergarten ready to learn by making preschool accessible to all. In our inaugural year, 40 children benefited from this initiative, and since then, over 950 children have experienced the transformative power of preschool education.

Impact

Every child deserves the opportunity to begin their educational journey equipped with essential skills. Unfortunately, many families in Sioux Falls struggle to afford preschool, leaving 300 to 400 children without this vital experience. The Hope Coalition is committed to changing this narrative, ensuring that no child is left behind.
