Founded in July 1997, the Simon Kenton Pathfinders began with just 17 members dedicated to developing a shared-use trail in Champaign County. Over the years, the organization has expanded to over 150 active members, successfully completing multiple phases of trail construction and enhancement through partnerships with local governments and organizations.
