The journey began in 1984 when an unusual cluster of flu-like symptoms emerged in Incline Village, prompting Dr. Peterson to investigate this perplexing condition. His commitment to patient care and scientific inquiry led to the creation of a unique biobank and extensive data collection, laying the groundwork for transformative research.
