Silverton Cat Rescue

Our Story

Founded by Vivian Palm, Silverton Cat Rescue began as a passionate mission to help cats in need. What started as one determined woman has blossomed into a dedicated group of around 35 volunteers committed to rescuing and rehoming cats in Silverton, Oregon. Since its establishment as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in September 2020, Silverton Cat Rescue has successfully rescued hundreds of cats and facilitated countless spay and neuter procedures, preventing thousands of unwanted kittens from being born.

Impact

In 2023, Silverton Cat Rescue achieved remarkable milestones, including spaying/neutering 255 stray and community cats and placing 275 cats and kittens in loving forever homes.
