About Silver Service Children’s Foundation

Established in 1992 and based in Chicago, the Silver Service Children’s Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing pediatric orthopedic surgical care to underserved children in Colombia and other South American countries. Under the leadership of Dr. Peter Smith, a team of board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses come together to make a difference.

To date, 55 medical missions have been completed, delivering high-quality orthopedic care at no cost to families.
