Our Story
Silicon Valley Gurdwara, located in Santa Clara, California, was born from the dreams and aspirations of the local Sikh community. In January 2012, the sangat began gathering at Machado Park's community hall every Sunday. With the blessings of Waheguru and the community's spirit of giving, SVG found a new home at 2306 Walsh Ave, establishing a 24/7 Gurudwara. This space has become a hub for spiritual gatherings, including raag darbar, katha, kirtan, and akhand paths.
In September 2013, the Khalsa School was initiated, driven by dedicated volunteers passionate about teaching Punjabi and Sikh values. The school has seen remarkable growth, culminating in the proud completion of its first 6th-grade graduating class. As the community continues to flourish, plans for a larger venue are underway, ensuring that future generations can thrive in their cultural and spiritual education.
