Our Story

Sickle Cell-Thalassemia Patients Networks Inc began in 1989 at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital as a support group for individuals with inherited blood disorders. Incorporated in New York State in April 1992, SCTPN focuses on education, advocacy, and support for families affected by sickle cell disease and thalassemia.
