The Sibley Environmental Learning Center Foundation, Inc. was established to address the lack of environmental education for children in Midland, Texas. Founded by two dedicated teachers, the Center has evolved since the early 1980s, thanks to the support of local organizations and the community. With a mission to celebrate the unique flora, fauna, and history of the region, the Sibley Nature Center has become a vital resource for over 35,000 visitors each year.
