Empowering Children Through Music

The Shropshire Music Foundation was founded in 1999 by Liz Shropshire, a passionate music teacher and composer, in response to the humanitarian crisis in Kosovo. With her extensive background in music and education, she created a groundbreaking music program for children in refugee camps, homeless shelters, and war-torn schools. This innovative approach has reached approximately 20,000 young people in conflict-affected areas worldwide, fostering hope and resilience through the power of music.

Impacting Lives Globally

Since its inception, the Foundation has taught 95,000 classes, significantly enhancing secondary school completion and college attendance rates among participants.
