Our Story
Shoreline Christian School began in 1950 when visionary Christian leaders and parents gathered to discuss the need for a dedicated educational institution. By October of that year, they established 'The Christian Education Society of Seattle,' which later became the Shoreline Christian School Society. The school opened its doors in 1952 as Watson Groen Christian School, welcoming 15 students across 8 grades. In 1997, the school was renamed Shoreline Christian School to better reflect its mission and community ties. Today, SCS serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade, offering a comprehensive program that includes academics, arts, athletics, and community service.
