Empowering Education in the Shoals Community

Founded in 2011 by the Florence and Greater Shoals Rotary Clubs, the Shoals Scholar Dollars Foundation is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for students in Colbert and Lauderdale Counties. This initiative ensures that every student from 17 local high schools has the chance to pursue higher education. By maintaining a C average, good attendance, and a clean behavioral record, students earn a two-year scholarship to Northwest Shoals Community College.
