About Shinjinbukan Foundation

Founded in 1988 by Onaga Yoshimitsu Kaichō, the Shinjinbukan Foundation is dedicated to preserving the ancient Okinawan martial art of Ti (手), which is the precursor to modern Karate. With a mission to promote the rich Ryūkyū culture, the foundation has been instrumental in providing affordable traditional martial arts training in the New York City metropolitan area since 1996. Under the guidance of Mr. Jimmy Mora, a direct disciple of Onaga Kaichō, the foundation has grown to serve the community through various volunteer programs.
