Founded in 2006 by the BC3 Anime Club at Bucks County Community College, Shikkaricon began as a small anime convention aimed at raising funds for the USO. Initially expecting only 50 attendees, the event surprised everyone with over 250 participants on its first day. The convention continued to grow, nearly doubling attendance in its second year. After a few hiatuses, Shikkaricon has re-emerged as a vibrant community gathering, celebrating anime and gaming culture.
