Our Story

Founded in 1998 in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Shepherds, Inc. began with a vision to transform the lives of socio-economically challenged high school students. Starting with just five students at Kolbe Cathedral High School in Bridgeport, the organization has expanded its reach to numerous partner schools, providing essential educational opportunities.

Impact

For over two decades, Shepherds has been dedicated to closing the education opportunity gap in Southwestern Connecticut. Students supported by Shepherds graduate high school on time and enroll in college at significantly higher rates than their peers, making a lasting impact on their communities.
