Founded in 2010 by a dedicated group of citizens, the Shenandoah Valley Equine Rescue Network (SVERN) emerged from a shared commitment to address the plight of neglected horses in the community. This organization provides essential care and rehabilitation for unwanted, abandoned, neglected, abused, and malnourished horses. SVERN collaborates with horse owners, law enforcement, and compassionate individuals to recognize and prevent equine abuse, ensuring that these majestic animals receive the love and care they deserve.
